You owe him a really good heartfelt apology. Tell him how much you love him and your reasons for wanting a fresh start, with the promise to be honest and open with him in the future. After this, give him a little time to think about what you said (don't pester him about it), and he may soon come around.

Just talk to him. Tell him the truth. Call him and talk to him face to face. If you really love him, tell him. All it takes is a little honesty. From experience , I learned you have to really want the love. Tell him , seek him, and if its all positive and the receptiveness is the same, and you discuss it. If he's not married, then real love will prevail. It works you have to really put your heart into him and value the love and settle down. Real love is a constant and you can't purchase my belief.

If your trying to get a man back that you are in love with then just give it time. If you had a relationship for over 3 years and you just broke up and still have feelings for that person then just give it time. Take that time to get into shape, do something different with your hair, change your appearance all together. Nothin better then a guy seeing his ex girl walk in a market looking better then ever!
