When we pray we ask that God His Kingdom comes as it is in heaven. If we pray for His kingdom to be

The Bible says only 144,000 will go to heaven to rule with Jesus over the earth & the rest will live in His KINGDOM on EARTH. So why do chruches preach that when we die we go to heaven, when God says we sleep until the ressurection to be before Him for Judgement Day and find out our fate...Eternal Life or Eternal Death?

But what about the Bible saying to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So how are we asleep until the resurrection?

as I understand it, the 144,000 are a reference to the Hebrews, not all of humanity. later in chapter 7 of revelation makes reference to a multitude of all nations (as opposed to the 12 tribes of Israel). i didnt see a reference to them ruling in heaven though.

The Bible says only 144,000 will go to heaven to rule with Jesus over the earth & the rest will live in His KINGDOM on EARTH. The question arise what is the logic behind it. All are the creatures of God but why is this difference. It is because how an individual is following the gospel truth of God in the process of life. The preachers of the Church are praying for those who could not follow the ideals of life as in Bible to get to be pardoned.

You are correct in certain aspects, but you have mentioned a few subjects, but each can be described individually, and at the end you get a Broader picture of the various issues combined.

Have a look at each of these hubs, they harmonise with each other.

144000 are Jews his disciples will be the priests Jesus did mention to the disciples (12) that they will rule with him each a tribe.

Us gentiles will be treated as sons of God.

Go well

I have more or less answered this question in a reply to your other question.

The 144,000 are made up of 12 x 12,000 people from each of the Twelve Tribes of Israel and here are the 12 tribes:

Joseph/Ephraim = England + her Commonwealth, Canada Australia, South Africa and NZ

Manasseh = The USA

Levi = Wales, Cornwall and The Walloons in Belgium + dispersal throughout Israel

Simeon = Scotland + dispersal throughout Israel.

Judah = Royal Judahites in Northern Ireland and throughout Israel (Judah is not the Jews - The Jews are Canaanites)

Rueben = Northern France including Paris

Zebulon = Holland and The Boers in South Afica

Issachar = Sweden

Benjamin = Norway Denmark and Iceland

Gad = Belgium

Asher = Switzerland

Naphtali = Finland

Dan = Southern Ireland - not included because of their Papist whoremongering.

Again these people will enter the Kingdom of God on this earth, they are not going to heaven!

In answer to yolanda yvette's question. Being absent from the body means not following the lusts of the body. If we are absent from it i.e. keeping our focus on being led by the Spirit then we are immediately absent from the body. As soon as we put our focus back onto the desires of the body we are immediately at home with the body. This verse has nothing to do with our death and the resurrection.
