What would be the effect of google caffeine in the search engine Industry??

Caffeine will allow Google to index things quicker, making their index more up to date. It will also bring site speed into the mix for ranking in the SERPs. They have also done away with PageRank, so there is no need to stress over that little green bar anymore.
