Do people complain too much these days? Explain.
Rights activists are endlessly protesting something or other. Every day you can find an article in some newspaper with some public person being denounced for saying some apparently faux-pas. Is there just too much complaining going on? Have people lost the ability to just 'suck it up'? Or perhaps there's just an awful lot to complain about these days? Or we have too much time on our hands? Looking forward to reading your thoughts.

Yes and No. It depends on what the topic is. Without any complaining no innovation or improvements can take place. Also, without any complaining improvements people DON"T want won't go away.

There are not enough complaints. Maybe Americans' terminal, pathological positivism has caused allot of insulin resistance (diabetes) and saccharine toxicity. It's definitely resulted in the formation of international "Complaint Choirs."
Anyway, the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution protects 1) the right to complain (seek redress), usually accompanied by 2) a description of the relief sought:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
