How has fatherhood changed you?

There's nothing to compare with having children; it has a profound effect on us all, and emotionally you go through an amazing transformation. At times you love life, at time you hate it! How has it changed your life? Has it changed the way you think about the little things?

I have been a father since I was fifteen years old. A step-dad at first, and then, over the following thirty-six years, a father to eleven kids in total. This includes three step-children and a beautiful daughter - who, sadley, was still-born.

How has fatherhood changed me?

I'm skint!

Living in Britain says

If I wasn't a dad I have no idea where I'd be. I was in with the wrong crowd and appeared to be heading for a rough ride when my little twin girls changed all of that. They were born premature so instantly took hold of my heart and they have never let it go. Having children turns most grown boys into real men as long as they forfill their roll as a dad and put in the time required (which is everyday). My little girls became my life for years as I became a single parent and raised them until they left home as adults. I now have three younger children I am now assisting their mother in raising !!
