What is the best exercise (without equipment or weights) for the back of the arms?

For me, the most pleasurable and effective way to tone up my triceps is to rake the garden. But you must change sides every few minutes a) to get less tired and b) to work both sides of the body and both arms evenly.

Those are called your triceps and rear deltoids. Shadowboxing is great for arm exercise. No weights or equipment. A little music and perhaps my video to get you started. :-)

Expectus is right this is where the triceps come in. A great exercise not using weight would actually be push ups. Doing them until you feel the back part of your arms (tricpes) burn a little is the best way to go..
