Article writing Tips.

These are my most important ones, only my opinion,

Ubiquitous repetitive Hubs are boring, Therefore it is necessary to find something interesting that you fully understand, and are therefore qualified to write about.

Tips for writing say a Recipe, Make it simple, Tidy and easy to follow. You will only need to write a Short Hub for Recipes, unless you are doing a German Plum Dumpling.

I know I should say turn on the spell check, I never do.

So turn on the spell check.

make sure what you write flows.

Don't use me as a Role Model for writing, despite the fact I won two writing Scholarships, I just never follow rules. Know what they are, just don't follow them.

Make sure that you are interesting, inject your personality.

Tell it like it is, keep it light,.

If you feel the need add Videos.

People like Photo's, so give them Photo's

Look out for subject matter that is unique.

If you feel you must churn out 30 Hubs in 30 Days, then at least make them interesting.

Look at your favoutrites and analyse, find out why you like them.

Look at yourself, are you a Person that is interesting, chances are you will probably write interesting Copy.

Many,many Hubs that I have read are actually dreary, although totally correct, in Punctuation, Grammar, but many Hubs i have enjoyed have been in pidgeon English.

Never think that you are a Brilliant writer let people answer that for you. If you receive comments and fans, chances are people like your work.

Keywords, must match so that your piece does get noticed, I study keywords and put way more emphasis on them than I ever would on Grammar and punctuation.

I hear the tut tuts, but todays generation, doesn't appreciate great Grammar, in a World filled with ROFL LOL OMG BTW and many, more obscure shortened words. I would chance to bet that most people only want to read what they can understand.

So common language can work well.

Never never Copy anyones work, I have hasd my Short stories copied, Oh and they tidied up the Punctuation. I didn't mind but many people would be annoyed.

Interestingly enough I have also observed that so many people on what is basically a writing Site, actually throw lol and smileys everywhere.
