My missy Flemish Giant had a litter of babies and they are only 5 days old. When I went to feed her

one of the babies were lying in the doorway of her hutch, not moving. Do I remove it?

If its dead, of course you have to, if you are worried it needs to be nearer her just distract her while you move it closer.

Yes, remove it. You may have to hand rear the litter if the mother continues to do an inadequate job. I would keep a close eye on her.

If you do hand rear, bottle feeding is not enough. The babies cannot eliminate by themselves and must have help. You need to wet a cotton ball and clean them every few hours.

It would be best if she cared for them, but some rabbits are just very poor mothers.
