Humans do not need a GOD or a God, because themselves is responsible for their own existence and answer only to Law(s) of real people.

Humans are weighed down by contradiction religion brings to the table and stresses over uninformed, mis-construed commentary from official church people.

Again, if you weren't burdened by religion, you would be able to live a more productive and happier life. You wouldn't be afraid of being judged by some "higher" authority, which doesn't exist.

Philosopher George Berkley’s subjective idealism is truly at play here. It is a wonderful question. He states that “to exist is to be perceived.” To consider this would insist that God requires humanity in order for Him/Her to exist, because it is the human perception, or interpretations about the world around us that explains the existence of God. If there is no one around to perceive this, then He/She could not exist.

If one takes a literal approach to any religious text, then the presence of humanity is irrelevant. God existed before and will exist after the presence of humanity. Thus, the question would become moot, since humanity’s existence becomes a gift from said God.

I tend to lean toward Berkeley’s explanations of existence since it does not rest too heavily on science and allows the individual to explain the world around him or her simply through experience. It too does not require any text to define faith; rather the text merely supports and clarifies any lingering inconsistencies that derive within me by simply being an imperfect human. If or when I see the works or presence of God around me, then I qualify God’s existence simply by noticing it.

One theory about divinity is that there is a kind of celestial popularity contest. What I mean is the more followers a deity has the more powerful it becomes, and likewise the less followers a deity has the less powerful it becomes. Almost as if they "ate" human attention. So useing that logic, one could easily make a case that gods need mortals because without us they'd starve. Theoretically speaking.

God needs humans, and Humans need god. Depending on your views, without humans God doesn't exist because there is no one to worship or know who he is. (all living things must die for god to not exist) God has given all humans the right to there own beliefs and what we do with our time on earth. Its a given right from birth, his/her blessing was if we survive birth we have a chance at life, regardless if were good or evil.
