Have you ever completed a novel? (even if it's never been published)

I've written four half finished novels - between them all I have about 400 pages worth of text! One day I'd really like to complete a novel, even if it never gets published!!!! How about you?

Yes I have, if you count the fact that it was a first draft. I think that it is worth all the time and effort to write it.

I'll most likely edit it soon, and begin to get serious about it.

Write that Novel! Publish the Novel? Maybe...

I admit right now that my novel is not high on my list of things I need to do today. This is really is because I am busy working on my three non-fiction pieces. But writing a novel is something that I really... keep reading →

I have written and finnished quite a few novels and also have hundreds of ideas for other ones written down. It is a strong passion of mine to write. For the first novel I completed, it ended up being 600 pages on microsoft word 12 point times new roman font. It would LOVE to someday get it published. I had sent the synoposis of it to writer's house with the hopes that they would publish it, but they denied me. Hopefully in the future a publishing company will accept my work!

Yes, one completed (which never found a suitable publisher) and one half finished, and unlikely to be finished. Instead I am working on a screenplay expanding upon the same story. Wish me luck!.

I'm working on my first one at the moment, but it's going very slowly; juggling novel writing with working, learning to drive, studying for A levels, practicing my instruments and sqeezing a social life in there somewhere is certainly a tricky job!! I'd love to get my head down and finish it in the summer holidays though, when all my exams are over. Then maybe there's chance of publishing it...!!

Yes, I did finish one. It's a time travel novel with a spiritual twist. I was going to self publish it, but it got picked up by a publisher in 2007.

I am working on my first one. I have posted two versions of the first chapter here. I don't think I will post the rest as I want to get it published when I am done. :)

Yes I have 2, one was a project for High School and the second was a fictional story based on facts that I was allowed to submit for History - got full marks, both were short.

Both of whic do not compare to the one I am writing now, this one I plan to get published. It will be chick lit and a 'for real' novel.

I LOVE writing, my favourite form of self expression...that and personal style-and have literally just joined hubpages.

Very excited!!!!

Yes. It is in an envelope, in a drawer, waiting for me to visit and revise. I find that putting some time between when I finish a project and when I revise and edit makes my writing stronger.
