Great Toys For Cats And Where To Find Them

My cat is addicted to a laser. They don't cost much and you can sit in your easy chair and give kitty one hell of a workout with the flick of your wrist.

I find that if my cat gets a good workout he is less likely to be destructive or annoying. Especially a house cat who does not get to express his natural instincts outside by climbing trees, sharpening his claws and stalking butterflies. Around here if I turned my cat loose something dire would happen to him so it is up to me to stimulate his life with play. I am pretty lazy sometimes and the laser provides him with what he needs and I get to relax and laugh.

Oh and by the way, get a good laser. I bought one at the dollar store and the switch on it stopped working within the hour.(Kitty was very frustrated) Expect to pay around $5.00 for a good one. Don't waste your time and money with the cheap ones.

I adore my cats so of course I would want to get them fun toys besides chasing around fruit flies or attacking the birds in my house. The main stores most people are aware of are petsmart and petco. Call me cheap but I will not spend $6 on a toy my cats are going to shred to smithereens or get lost within my couch. So, to spoil my cats with toys I check out the local dollar store. They have a pretty basic line of pet toys like mouse’s, feathers attached to a piece of thread, etc. It is just as fun as any other product out there, actually if my cat spend an hour playing with hide and seek with my carpet I don’t feel guilty buying them a $1 toy. The great thing about pets is they don’t really “need” toys, they just love all the fun things within a house… sure you rather not want them to play with toilet water, play with the string of your hoodies, or try to see if they can fit in the bags of groceries you just brought in, but its fun memories that are priceless. Just my 2 cents.
