What was your best budget vacation? And why?
Even in today's economy, we still need to take a break.

My best budget vacation was packing my camping equipment and driving around Ontario for a month, sleeping in provincial parks and wherever else the night caught-up with me (like in the car on the road). Very cheap and worthwhile. The "biggest" expense was developing the photos.

I recently got a last minute deal on a Galapagos cruise that was awesome! I'll have an hub about it soon - but the tour company was Adventure Associates. Other great budget vacations I've been on include driving to Mazatlan, Mexico and going on a sailing tour in Ecuador.
