Hunting Turkey is a past time that has been around for millennia ,It originated in the hills of Armenia and the oldest recorded writings come from the Uzbekistan tolmet of Turkey hunting circa 829 bc, reportedly written by Jerko Jimerochechiko the famous scribe to King Abracumos the third 830-829 bc.

Jimenerochechiko writes.(his most famous passage);

It has been a long summer and my King and master has asked me to chronicle his attempts at hunting Turkey.For seven days and eight nights we have walked (i hate leaving in the evening),

across the hills of our great and fertile land until we saw our first glimpse of our quarry.

She stood there proud and noble taunting us with her gaze like she had never seen a man before.My King shouted at the top of his voice " I am King Abracumos and i have come to hunt you."

The Turkey gave us no response and my King felt this as a slight to his authority.He ordered his archers to fire and they sent a volley of arrows so thick that for a moment an arch of whistling sticks of death blotted out the sun and came crashing on her like a sea of instant death.

She did not move,she did not bleed,my king cried like a child and was truly inconsolable.

We gathered at his side and gave him words of kindness and support ,but to no avail,he wanted his trophy and he had to have hit ,he sent his best warriors to fight to the death with her till she died or they, we waited for weeks and they did surely die.

He sent his cavalry but they returned with nothing but a few rocks,this only angered our king so he had the whole cavalry beheaded in front of Turkey so as to prove that he would not accept failure .It wasn't until Prevechius of the Prevechius clan suggested that our king may be suffering from a dilusion (far greater than that of any man that has ever lived )that we decided to act before all our rations were spent.

That night we all took turns in placing deep in the chest our daggers into the man that had lead us to victory in the wars against the Elmichions and the people of the southern mountains.

We knew what we had done was right and that our future was saved from anyone who may consider trying to hunt another country.

we left his blood soaked body there on the border and went home to have some tea with those nice biscuits that Mellios of Michenier's mother makes.

As you can see to this date no one has successfully hunted Turkey but its still worth a shot.
