There is so much information on the web now about the "teacup" pig ... it is a size reference only, not a breed. As a breeder in Canada of the miniature pigs, I would like to give the actual size reference so that buyers can do their homework when looking for a pet pig. Some want color, some want the smallest, some want the best temperament for kids and so forth, hope this helps:

The sizes being mentioned on the net, which are not breeds but a combination, are the following:

Potbelly Pig: 16 - 26" and weigh up to 200 lbs

Mini Potbellies: 15 - 16" weigh up to 100 lbs

Teacups 14.5" This size is just another name for a smaller pot bellied pig. Most pot bellies are black, black and white and a few are pink with a gray butt.

Toy 14" (Can be a combination of two breeds) They will be many different colors as well to include chocolate, spotted, pink, and red.

Micro mini 10 - 12" You will notice a different body type then the potbellies and a longer, squared off nose. This is what we breed.

Mini Juliana 8 - 11" This is a breed in itself. Unlike the pot bellies the Juliana is very delicate boned and has a long nose Always has spots. The smallest of all of the mini breed. Juliana pigs are an important part of our breeding program, they bring incredible color and the small size to the party ... the micros are needed in the mix to produce the smooshed in snout that people want.

We breed micro and Juliana crosses, and soon Kunekune crosses because of their amazing dispositions, perfect for families .. you get a few extra inches in height, but well worth it! :)
