Without God's word and Laws and commandments, what do you think our world would be like?

If we did not have the bible, how would our society be today? Think about it? The bible teahes us how to live a moral life and teach us to ive a righteous life according to God's laws and commandments. Would there be churches if we did not have God's word to follow?

Laws are part of society, and people create and choose these.

If you believe in God's word and laws, that is your personal belief. There have been many different beliefs for people through the ages, and not having one particular religion is unlikely to change this or change the way people make laws in order to be able to live together in society.

Many teachings of the bible also appear elsewhere, in philosophy and religion, and pre-date the bible. This does not necessarily undermine the bible: it shows how relevant such teachings are and, if you believe in the God of the bible, you can believe that he was making his word known in many different ways to many different people.

The bible, per se, however - much as it has influenced life in a large area of the world - is not the only method by which societies have created laws, including morality-based ones.

Re. churches - as places of worship, they would exist in some form, as such places have throughout human history. They could well differ in form, though, without the bible.

May be better. How many times have I heard "God" told to do, say, or to kill or 'fill in the blank. Get real. Has anything changed?

Our world would be much the same. Somehow also in places where god is not so popular, people seem to understand basic human decency, i.e. don't kill each other & don't take each other's stuff.

Besides that, if there were no religion the way you define it, there would be another one in its place. If Jesus died on the gallows, we'd all have a little rope around our necks and not a cross. The point is, people need religion, they will create a god as necessary to make them understand why the world is the way it is, and why they have to die. If the one who did not die for the sins name was not Jesus, it would have been Mithra, or one of the other numerous son of gods. The Roman's just happened to embrace that particular one as the new world religion.

As far as what the world would be like with one less religion, you'd be asking this question about the Buddha, Mohamed or someone else, and yes, there would be churches, maybe even more than we have now.

It would be much worse than now infact we would not be here if it was not for his laws. Planes would not fly because there would be no Gravity, babies would not be born because he causes conception, the sun would not be shining because he created it with scientific laws. We would not even be in existence, because it was his plan to create us.

Gods laws are more than just commandments.

Sickness etc are the curse because man disobeys his Laws

His laws are also good advice, to prevent you harm.
