Is snapping-hip syndrome treatable?

Hi. I am only 19 years old and believe myself to have snapping-hip syndrome due to excess running and not enough stretching for the past year. Not only do my hip joints pop when i extend my legs and make a grinding sound when i walk, but my right knee pops frequently. It is getting progressively more painful; like a shooting pain down either leg. Do I have the early onset of arthritis and will i need hip-replacement in the future? Can I still power-walk (i have traded in running due to its roughness on the joints)? I plan on seeing a chiropractor over the holiday break.

While you're looking for help (I love my chiropractor) consider Vitamin D3 (you can take alot, it's not toxic), helps get calcium back into bones/teeth. Also, consider making bone broth soup once a week. I read that there are no blood vessels to the synovial fluid but the good stuff (the gel) from the broth goes straight there. Real easy to make: couple of chicken carcasses (left over from roasted), kosher salt, peppercorns, onion, couple of bays leaves (I add egg shells I've saved, vinegar), simmer 3 hours to 3 days! Add water as you will, but near the end let it go down to half or so. Strain (with or without cheese cloth), cold, skim off fat. Delicious. Not at all like canned! Just brought some broth to my daughter in university...she loved it (getting over the flu). High quality protein, easy to digest. Also, magnesium is good. Kinda bulky for a multi so I take that in water...tastes pretty good. Magnesium citrate. Could take a year, be patient, keep hope, many benefits right away!
