Is the U.S government too paranoid of terror and terrorism?

to the point that it influences the freedom of their own American citizens and their tourists alike? I have just an interesting blog about crossing the Canadian-American border, it sounded like fast paced thriller and the 'victim' was just ordinary innocent Cannadian citizen.

The U.S. government is rightly concerned with terrorism. It currently undertakes great pains to keep it out of our borders.

These things ebb and flow over time. If the U.S. goes a decade or two without a major terrorism incident, you likely will have an easier time crossing the border.

Yeah, Clinton was fed up with that "paranioa" too, so he gutted the US military, depleted our resources along our borders,.....It was just a mere coincidence that the 911 highjackers crossed over during his term.......
