Where does food from the 99 cent store come from?
The 99 cent only stores sell brands that are in Vons and Ralphs at clearly, a fraction of the cost, so why are they in the 99 cent store?

The food comes from the same companies that all the rest do. When company's don't sell all there product to major stores they are sold at dollar stores. This is also good for a company because it allows people to get "addicted" to there product for cheap. A good example of this is I once bought an 8 pack of Bar-S hot dogs at Dollar Tree. People around me were like "I don't trust the meat here." Well, checking the expiration date on the package, it had over a month left of sell by date! If its the same brand, and not past the sell by date, its just as safe as buying it for $3.50 at Stop & Shop. Don't be afraid to try food from a dollar store, I never got sick from anything yet.
