If you could give away $10,000, who (or what non-profit) would you give it to and why?

I would split the money between the Salvation Army, Red Cross and United Way because they come to to the rescue when people suffer tragedy. It is nice to know that they will be there to help despite the sacrifices their workers have to go through to help others.in tramatic and harsh environments. It is because of these agencies who help others throughout the world that many have been successful. During these financial hardship days, they need our financial support more than ever to continue helping disaster victims when the need arises.
