What is the most unexpected thing that has ever happened to you on a cruise?

I got sick the first day of a 10 day cruise. I ate dinner in one of the fancy ballrooms and had to run out of the room with an upset stomach. I didn't make it to the bathroom in time and started puking right at the entrance to the dining room. My friend said it looked like the scene from The Exorcist when the girl's head was spinning around. I stayed sick for days and missed seeing some of our island stops. It got so bad that I had to be admitted to the ship's hospital for dehydration.
