I am a mother of five and when it comes to the television I do not allow much of it at all in my home. So many of the cartoons are geared for adults even the ones on cartoon network.
The best cartoons for young kids are on PBS Kids, all of there cartoons are very positive and fun for the kids. I do not recommend any other station because it is sad to say they are all garbage, Spongebob is a very popular cartoon , but it is not what I want to teach my kids and the jokes are all adult jokes.
I wish you luck , give PBS a try you will love it .
