Why did the Republican Conservative Far Right bastardize their own Christian religion?
I am writting a book in which this happens. Does winning at all costs mean to their God. Or does this mean that their God does not exist?

The problem is that all religions are created by humans. They have precious little to do with spirituality. Give humans a shot at anything, and they'll twist an turn it like an origami statuetee til it has no semblance to its original form.
You can take anything in the Bible, the Koran or any other religious scripture and twist it to your own agenda.Hitler did it, Al Queda did it and now, looney tunes like Glen Beck are doing it.
