What are you thankful for?
It will be thanksgiving in the US in less than a month. Even though I'm British, we have our own tradition just before we eat dinner. We go around the table and all answer the question 'What are you thankful for?'; this year is a difficult one for me, I am thankful for so many things; my good health, the fact I have a job, the fact I am safe and happy....the underlying thing though must be 'I am thankful, that despite all the ups and downs in life, my family is still happy and healthy'

I am thankful that I can be thankful.....so many people have fallen by the wayside due to no support, no family, no love, the list goes on. I can say that regardless of everything I have gone through the last two years, as well as my entire life, I am grateful because I am fortunate to be grateful. I could have chosen to be very negative as well as miserable in spite of the blessings I received.

I'm thankful for the experiences I have had and will have.
Whether they were or will be great or not so great, I am grateful for the experience. If we never experienced anything we could not experience gratitude for anything,

I just posted a hub based on this exact question, since I was writing an article about it anyways, and found this question in the sidebar of my hub. I must say, I have many things to be thankful for in life, but my son easily tops the list
