I just wrote some hubs. Is there a waiting period to see if they get accepted or rejected?

I ask this because ... well 2 reasons. . You godda wait for about a week for an article to get "reviewed" and "accepted" into ezine articles. Is a review done of our hubs because I've heard hub pages can be kinda finiky about what they accept. ie how do you know if a hub is accepted

Once you hit publish you'll know almost immediately of there are any problems.

For most authors, once you hit publish, the Hub is now public on the HubPages website.

For some people that have been asked to resubmit a hub, their hubs need to be reviewed by a moderator before they are live on the site. These end up in a queue that we check frequently and most are approved or denied that day.
