Why do people in the equatorial regions prefer white cars?
Why do people in the equatorial regions prefer white cars unlike people in temperate regions who prefers automobiles with darker colors?

Because white does not attract the heat of the sun as much as darker colours. I think that one can bake a cake in a black car that has been parked in the sun for some time in a tropical or equatorial region.
