Did anyone ever need to fire a health care aide for elder abuse and then got sued for firing them?
We suspected an aide of causing elder abuse to our 97 year old aunt, so we fired the aide. Now she is suing for severance pay and lost wages. There was no contract or agreement to pay after termination.
