does god know where we're going before we're born?
if god knows everything does he know where we're going before we're born? and if he does why set us up for failure? i understand we have our own will but he still knows the decision we're gonna make whether it is believing in him or not. so why make us if he knows we're not going to love him.

My understanding of God leads me to believe that He does not know your outcome. However He is an expert intuitive prognosticator. He knows the ways of man. Every action and reaction and their billions of outcomes. You were born with a clean slate and begin choosing your path as you interact with the world. He made you able to determine right from wrong along with moral guidelines in the form of scripture. His intent is to initiate you into his fraternity and this life is your test
If he knew everyone's destiny before they were born then this reality would all be an exercise in futility for a being of such apparent intelligence.

So you are already assuming you have been set up for failure...?
Hoowantstono and Seyiari have given good answers to this question but as the Truth seems to hurt, their answers have been marked down.
God know's where we're going before we're born but gives us all a Free will to make certain choices which could either have a positive or negative impact on our lives.
HOOWANTSTONO says
God does know where you choose to end up, and he has given two directions dependent on your choice. All of humanity is following a route they choose, and yes you will go that route also. so make a choice.
De:30:19: I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Proverb:16:9: A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
Proverb:3:6: In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverb:21:29: A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way.
M't:11:28: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
