Are refugees different from us? Does it mean that someone who is less fortunate is less human?
You can see it in every newspaper - ' a game of human pass-the-parcel' . On one side nameless, faceless, desperate refugees trying to enter Western Countries and on the other side, Western Countries trying to get rid of them and pass them around...a new game of century, can we call it : ' New humanitarian game' ?

If you, Beata Stasak are less fortunate, does it make you less human?

You don't understand what refugee status imparts - it's legal asylum, granted by DHS/ICE and the State Dept., from a real or perceived threat of serious injury from another country. Those who are automatically granted asylum once inside the US include North Vietnamese, North Koreans, Cubans because were they to return they'd probably be murdered like so many unfortunate predecessors. Apparently Donald Rumsfeld was litigated for having marched a Gitmo detainee out of the frying pan, into the fire in such a way.
Einstein was something of a refugee; Germany's loss, our gain.
