It depends how well optimized your page is and what you are doing to increase traffic to it. It does take a while for search engines to find and rank your page, so I have experienced a sudden increase in traffic at times. I've also had this when I've changed the title of my page to something more search engine friendly. I've written a couple of hubs of this if you want to have a look.
