legally, there's little that you can do (unless the rental agreement mentions something in particular in this reference). get a lawyer to look at your rental agreement if that's not too much trouble.
you can also approach the institute (bank/lender) that has foreclosed upon your rental home and ask them if you can continue to live in it as a renter until the home finds a new buyer.
