What's your favorite thing about teaching high school Sign Language?

As for Sign Language, I love the expressiveness and visual beauty of the language. As for the students, they enjoy doing something performance-oriented (even though there is also reading for this class to learn about Deaf culture). In most states, American Sign Language is considered a foreign language and is accepted for college credit as such. As for being around teenagers, they keep me young! I learn about their views and culture, gadgets and music... It gives me great hope because this generation is thinking outside of the box and very "team-oriented."
