Sepsis is a condition the combines inflammation in the body, low blood pressure and problems with the blood's clotting mechanism. Most often sepsis is caused by infection
Sepsis can cause high or low blood sugar levels, but a change in blood sugar levels is not usually something that triggers a septic condition itself.
