Well I believe there is two parts to this answer, observation of teens behavior and knowing the warning signs to look for in abnormal behavior and by asking your teen day, " How are you feeling today?" Communication is the key to having a healthy relationship with your children and good listening skills when they need you to listen to what they have to say.
