No question, just a request.
Why not, with the holidays coming, write about a special Christmas memory? Make it really SPECIAL - not the same as everyone else on the planet, not THEIR Christmas memory, but YOURS. Include not only immediate family, but extended family, pets (if any), neighbors, teachers, - anything and anyone that made THAT Christmas memorable to you - more than any others. Maybe it was not in your childhood, but when you were married, with children of your own. Try and not leave your reader with a "been there/done that" attitude. Write it with heart and truth. Must be great memories with your good Dad
