First identify the bug, if they are bed bugs call an exterminator as the chances of getting rid of them on your own are slim. Check references of possible exterminators to ensure they have successfully exterminated bed bug infestations before. Only an exterminator with bed bug experience can do the job.

Yes, first identify the bugs. Are they bed bugs or bed (dust) mites? Dust mites are everywhere and the best way to avid them getting into your mattress is shower/bathe in the evenings, gently brushing your skin and sloughing off the dead skin cells then. A good HEPA vacuum cleaner can suck up whst's in the mattress.
If they are bed bugs you can get various prodcuts to deal with them, and call an exterminator. But check the company that does the extermination actually knows about how to deal with bed bugs because many don't
