What are your beliefs about Jesus and do those beliefs correspond Bible teaches?

The Jesus of the Bible is strikingly different than the Jesus of popular opinion. It is horribly unpopular to make such a claim; however, I find it of great importance that we think rightly about Jesus. I propose that what one believes about Jesus will ultimately have eternal consequences; therefore, we may want to weigh heavier of the side of objective truth rather than subjective opinion.

The question is supposed to say, "What are your beliefs about Jesus and do those beliefs correspond or contradict what the Bible teaches?

I will post the edited version but feel free to answer here if you wish.

All knowledge us conducted through the channels of the Holy Spirit. When we make the concerted effort to continually improve our lives and focus it through the Savior we are then endowed with new knowledge. It is the law of heaven.

It profits nothing to discuss back and forth the character of God, Jesus Christ or even the Holy Ghost if we, as individuals, are not doing those things in our own lives to improve our relationship with them. I can declare very little about you except from your questions, profile and your hubs. However, if we spoke and made the mutual effort to get to know one another then my declaration of you would be much more pronounce and rich with truth because of that effort to know who you are.

If we take the time to follow Jesus Christ and His teachings we will then have the testimony, or the assurance, of what is right or wrong. Through a spirit of discernment we can then analyze and apply what scripture dictates about the Savior.

It doesn't answer the question but those are my thoughts. Good question!
