There's actually a few thing I do and a couple of things I'm going to do about high gas prices. The things I've been doing from the start include planning my route. I do take the time to map out my destinations like, grocery shopping is on the same road as the dry cleaner, post office, and the kid's school. Since I need to pick up the kids after school, I do my food shopping during the week. If I am going to the factory outlet for some jeans, socks, etc. and I go right past the gas station, I stop in and get gas. The other thing I do is put some Fuel Max in my gas tank. It's an additive and it works great. My husband has just started using it and he can see results from it. Just so you know, we get ours at www.clfuelsaverplus.com. It also helps if you stop for gas earlier in the day. The cooler the temperature outdoors is, the less evaporation you get. The latest thing I do now, is check the tire pressure. If the tires are filled the right way, they can roll along with less resistance which saves gas. I'm about to add Slick 50 too. This is an additive that works in the transmission of your car. It just lets the fuel work more efficiently and it also works to clean the crankcase. This is all I know about cars, but I keep looking for more hints on how to save at the pump. We're up to $4.17 a gallon! The other thing I might do is send out a bunch of letters to the people in power. I think they fib a lot about why it's so high.. I use Shell as my gas station by the way and I use unleaded.
