How do you tell your kid(s) age 7-9 that your husband or wife cheated on you and you plan to divorce or seek legal advice? How can they take it?

Break the news to them easy that you are no longer going to be together and that it doesnt affect your love for them. Make sure they know its not them. Try to hide your animosity as much as possible. Wait to tell your children, they will want to know one day and you owe it to them to tell them but now is not the time in my opinion.
