Great question. As a former all-american and pro golfer, I have asked the question often Sally. I think the thrill of hitting a small white ball close to the pin...or sending it down the fairway with one swat of a club brings some sort of adrenaline high. One gets bit by the golf but...and BANG...All he/she can think of is playing again.
