My favorite flower in the Colorado area for full sun growing is the Shasta Daisy. The Shasta Daisy makes for a great vase full of cut flowers. They continue to flower all summer and watching where you cut on the stem, you can promote new flower growth. In Colorado, there is nothing happier or prettier to be growing in my garden than this happy, pretty flower! The best part is that the Shasta Daisy is a Perrenial, meaning that it comes back each year...most times bigger and better. When I see the green shoots coming out of the brown cuttings in the spring, I get a smile on my face, knowing that my Shasta Dasies are on their way to brighten up my sunny backyard garden!
