I think the problem is the perception that the United States of America in its present form is that of sole world superpower in terms of military might, economic strength and arguably its contribution to culture. In its form as superpower America as a country has conducted actions which suggests it has a globalising mission, one which will unite the world under the auspices and control of the United States of America, or at the very least under the umbrella term of “democracy”.

From the perspective of other nations this isn't always welcomed, especially when the US conducts actions which we finds questionable such as abuses of power, or corruptions, wars etc. The list goes on.

However, the US isn't alone in these actions, it's just the most prominent in the eyes of the media!

Why America is seen as a Bad Boy of the World nations?

I don’t think the US is necessarily seen as a ‘Bad Boy’ of World Politics, perhaps ‘Sick Boy’ is more suitable thanks largely to the current administration. The George W. years have been very... keep reading →
