Is it true that binaural beats have an effect your brainwaves? Can they make you smarter?

I am not sure if they can make you smarter, but I believe and have experienced a lot of changes myself in regards to creativity and lowered stress levels.

I think actual reading and learning makes you smarter, but binaural beats definitely assist in improving your ability to receive and interpret information. Make sure you listen to them in MP4 format because MP3's don't cover the whole range of frequencies that binaural beats and tones use to improve your brain functionality
