The older the conviction the better. try moving out of state as some employers are too cheep to do a nation wide background check.

Also be up-front about you situation dis-close clean and sober time or rehab.

Grocery stores some medical clinical and hotels are good places to start.

GET THAT FELONY EXPUNGED....sadly there is a backlog in San Diego courts and requests for expungment are handled by newbee layers looking to get some legal experience.

Good luck to all:].... as the USA has the most documented felons in the world.

There are companies that hire men and women with felonies but they are not easy to find if you have no idea where to look. I don't know what city you reside in but I would start with that city or county job... keep reading →
