Blogger or Typepad - Which is better or offers more? Which is found more by search engines? I am looking for a blog I can monetize, which is why I think Typepad or Blogger may be a better choice.

There's a myth that you should use Blogger because it belongs to Google and therefore it gets preference, but it is a myth. Google knows there are a LOT of rubbish blogs on Blogger, so it applies the same criteria to Blogger blogs as everywhere else.

If you're serious about monetizing a blog, I would go the whole hog, buy a domain name and some cheap hosting and use Wordpress.
