Ouch! I know how a tough job search while still in school is a good way to ruin your GPA. Here's what I'd suggest: (1) If possible, try to get difficult courses done early so that you have an "easy" class schedule during your final year. (2) Get your resume out early. Get feedback from your campus career center, but beware of wasting a lot of time at career fairs. Interview, interview, interview! (3) Intern during your final year and/or the summer before it. This gives you real on-the-job experience and your foot in the door of a potential employer. And don't forget to ask your counselor about earning units/credits on the job.
