Help My Dog Has Dry Skin

Maybe your giving your dog a bath to often? I used to bath my dog every weekend and the vet told me to bathe her only once a month. Too much bathing causes dry skin and flaking.So now I only bathe her once a month her coat is soft and shiny.I use Pro.Pet antibacterial deodorizing shampoo the apple scent.It cleans,deodorizes,conditions and detangles.Some people say to put a raw egg in their food and it helps the coat stay healthy and shiny.I have never tried this but it must work because alot of people have suggested it.It might also be a food allergy.I had a dog that was allergic to soy and couldn't eat just any dog food.So maybe you should take your dog to the vet first and see what the problem might be..

I would suggest buying some home made soap for dogs on eBay. They are less drying than commercial soaps, and may just fix his problem. I'd look for a seller that has lots of positive feedback, and has been making soap for awhile,
