Should students be allowed to have/to use mobile phone at schools?

It seems to be a long-term argument throughout different schools these days whether or not cell phones should be allowed. Some schools have discontinued them completely, and some allow them at certain times.... keep reading →

For study abroad programs it is a requirement, it's a matter of safety. With all the things going on it's good to be able to reach someone quickly or to call someone quickly. I would argue that they be used for emergency purposes only. Now for manufacturers to have a button to put the phone into emergency use only, meaning that you can only call emergency services and not say your friends at the mall.
