I would start out by taking a beginning beading class at a local bead store, community college or an adult school. This way you can get a hands on experience with jewelery making. They also have a hub page which talks about beginning beading and I have seen some nice projects on different hubs. you can also go to beadingdaily.com they also have tutorials on beading fashion jewelry. You will have to join the web site to get the tutorials and the projects but it is free.
