Seeing no other answer to this question, I would like to give out an answer I know of personally.

The book "Take Him Home and Love Him" is written by Mary Ann Puckett about the difficult search for assistance medically, socially, nutritionally and educationally for her low-level autistic son, Steven.

I met Steven when he was six, still in diapers, almost without speech. He is now 24 and attends a special sheltered work-school, though he does still live at home.

Mary's book is on Amazon, and in other local book stores. It is well worth the read, written with love and much advice that worked - and some things that did not. She does have a web site where you may order the book or contact her personally. Just do engine search for either the book or the author. She does speak at seminars, and works with several autism groups. Best Wishes in your search and accomplishment!
