Varadero Beach is very nice and you have a large selection of resorts to pick from. The beach is beautiful and if you go in the off-season you can find some really excellent deals on packages. However, my favorite spot is Cayo Coco. I like the fact that it is quieter and smaller than Varadero. The hotels in Cayo Coco are also first class. We especially like the Blau Colonial - great hotel, great service, and staff that are genuinely glad you decided to visit Cayo Coco, but even more so - Cuba. Choose Varadero if you want a little more action, choose Cayo Coco for a quieter, more calming holiday.
